These are old, but I still love seeing him cry over for his daughter!  The song was written for her, and not many people know that.  Aaaaah.  Such men, such, such men!  And that voice!!!    Jennifer Lopez is a lucky woman.  Hit about 3:12 and he starts to break down, and then at the end of the song, he really breaks down. <3  She was in the audience too!

Have you ever spoken to someone that reminds you of all you used to be? You remember the energy you carried, the most prominent emotions in your personality, your insecurities, and the utter frenzy of someone on the brink of change. It almost made me cry!   I started life on my own so young, and though sometimes I feel I’m still in a training bra (not that much has changed in the department! ), the girl I used to be is gathering dust in the constant stream of diaries she used to fill.  It’s been such a long, fast lived journey, and if you’ve ever taken THAT road, that spur of the moment turn on the highway decision road, you understand exactly what I mean!

That said, I like this Second Life ghettup! It’s colorful and fun, and inspired by the array of accessories I received from [Glow]!  And though I haven’t always been a fan of red hair, when it’s coupled with the deep rich tones of darker skins, I fall in love!

Hi!! Have you ever felt sortakindavery tired? I feel sortakindavery tired!  And so here we are, about to drop on my fluffy white blankets to drool away the night.  But I’m sortakinda remembering my mother using tights with her tshirts, and hating the style, because I had long chicken legs that looked even skinnier when I wore anything gripping.  Now? I love the look, love how beneath a hip long top they still manage to make you look so very feminine, and how that top usually brushes or clings to your more voluptous lower curves.

I’m sick, and it’s not pretty! My skin is a dull shade of pale, and if vampires look like I do now, I definitely will pass on immortality for a short and more attractive youth. So, instead of closing shop as previously decided, I’m filling time by posting the great samples sent my way by various designers, one of which includes Anemysk Karu (Thank you, Anemysk!) from [Glow]. I’ve blogged about the multitude of accessories and poses she creates, but my affinity with her shop goes beyond the quantity of items she offers. It reaches the high quality of her creations and how easy they complete just about every look I can think of – especially my favorite, that of a bohemian flair. Below I feature her Peacock Bracelet and Forest Earrings, both which complimented a zebra printed chemise from the great CK Winx (<3) , Muism’s Biker Vest, and Pixel Mode’s Rea boots (50L sale. Catch it before it ends!). And yes! For whatever reason, the only animal print I’ve ever been attracted to is the black and white striped goodness of Mr. Zebra. So here you go, back in the game and at your Second Life fashion favor

One more thing! Have you ever thought about what cities cater to which fashions, and why certain boutiques feature only a handful of garments from their choice of designers? I love mini-skirts, and as vain as it may sound, I love showing off my legs, but mini skirts aren’t for every city I’ve visited or lived in, at least not for ever day wear. And it’s not because I follow any particular trend. Sometimes you have stay safe, and staying safe means staying modest. In my usual hunting grounds that means dressing very, very urban and hard core. So while you are getting dressed tomorrow morning, decide if what you are wearing goes beyond your preference in cut and color to more in-depth decisions on why you bought that particular piece! Blame the finishing touches of a Sociology major for my blogging about it!
